My style of photography is based in photojournalism. Capturing the moment for what it is in a stunning, poignant and visually beautiful way. When we work together, you will not be stressed, or put under any pressure. Your pet is not expected to act in any specific way. Regardless of how good or bad you believe they behave, I guarantee absolutely gorgeous results that highlight the beauty of your pup and loving bond you both share. Each image is carefully curated and lovingly edited to bring out the emotion of the moment. You will love your images. I guarantee my work and I guarantee you beautiful results.

Everyone moment is unique and I do my best to stay true to the moment as I saw and felt it, keeping things as natural as possible but with a bit of enhancement to ensure they are as visually stunning as the eye perceives.

Safety is the number one priority. If you do not feel comfortable or trust your pet to be off leash, then no worries! I can easily remove the leash in editing. A collar over a harness will provide for best editing post session.

There is no penalty to reschedule due to unideal weather. I highly encourage rescheduling over sacrificing a session where you or your pup will be too hot, too cold, wet or muddy. Some dogs don’t mind a little rain, and sometimes rain can create a very PNW mood to the images, but consider your pet, consider your investment and the types of photos you want to receive. If we do photograph when it’s wet, I will not be able to edit them dry in the final images, so its something to be aware of and keep in mind.

Once our session ends, turn around is usually within 2-6 weeks. I will cull and hand edit each image individually. It is a multi-step process that elevates each image to its best look, enhancing the lighting, color, cropping and clean up of leash and background distractions. When your gallery is ready you will be emailed a link to it where you can view all your images and decide on purchase selections.

I book a maximum of 100 sessions per year - 2 per week. Sessions can be booked up to 1 year in advance, but most people book several weeks to a few months out.
Spring and fall are popular times to schedule a session, so I would recommend getting your date on the calendar as soon as you decide you would like to do a session, to ensure you reserve your spot before they are all filled!
